The Swings Are Not What You Think They Are
The Swings Are Not What You Think They Are

People see the swings and assume it’s something that it’s not.
Yes, there’s a swing. Yes, there’s movement. Yes, there’s stillness and breath.
But what’s actually happening when someone is suspended, when gravity reorganizes their nervous system, when their fascia releases patterns they’ve carried for two decades, when their body remembers something their mind has forgotten, that’s more than just yoga.
That’s a different kind of therapeutic technology entirely.
I built AYRx™ system because the bodies I was working with needed something the existing modalities couldn’t deliver. Suspended Somatics Therapy™ came from the same root.
Both evolved from neighboring movement and healing disciplines, but they integrate nervous system science, somatic intelligence, suspension technology, and advanced therapeutic applications in ways those disciplines weren’t designed to hold.
Think of it this way: football and soccer both use a field, both involve movement, and both involve a ball. They’re not the same sport.
That’s how I’d frame what I built. Not better than yoga, bodywork, or meditation. Different. Functionally distinct. Built for something specific.
What it’s built for: The visionary whose nervous system is asking for recalibration, not another workout. The founder, whose clarity returns through fascial release, not another offsite. The creator whose body has been holding what their work demanded and is finally ready to let go.
This is what I mean when I say I’m building a new category. Not louder. Not better. Just accurately named for the right person whose system has been asking for something beyond what’s currently labeled.
If you’ve ever felt your body needed something different than what the wellness world offers, you’re probably one of them.

For 25 years, the same question has driven my work:
Why do the most capable people I meet keep hitting walls that no amount of strategy, effort, or optimization can move?
I came to that question from an unusual direction. My background is in engineering and physics, I was trained to look for how systems actually work, where they break down, where energy leaks, where force gets stuck. I never expected to point those tools at human beings. But that’s exactly where they led.
Because what I kept seeing was this: the wall was never in people’s thinking. It was in the system underneath it. The nervous system that hadn’t stood down in years. The patterns held in the body long after the mind had moved on. The beliefs running quietly beneath every decision, shaping outcomes no strategy could touch.
Talk-based work couldn’t reach those layers. So I spent the next two and a half decades building methods that could. Some of the work is physical using the body and suspension to release what the mind has been gripping, because a supported, decompressed body finally stops bracing, and a system that stops bracing can reorganize.
Some of it works at the level of state and energy, the field a person operates from. Because the state you create from quietly becomes the results you experience, long before any decision is made.
And some of it works with the mind and the deeper patterns directly through hypnosis, belief reconstruction, and a process I call the Path to Transformation, which moves a person from the surface story down to the root and back up into a new way of operating.
Different instruments. One intention.
I’ve never been interested in helping people function slightly better inside systems that are draining them. I’m interested in reaching the whole system, body, nervous system, state, and mind so the change actually holds.
That’s the part most approaches miss. They optimize one layer and wonder why the results don’t last. Real change happens when you address the system generating the results, not just the output.
It’s also why no single title has ever fit what I do. Each one describes a single instrument and misses the orchestra.
What I build are environments, and methods, where high-capacity people can finally put down what they’ve been carrying, and operate from something steadier than pressure.
That’s the work. And it’s far bigger than any one technique.
Best part is we can explore all these wonderful tools while in paradise! Book a Deep Dive in Maui for a complete recalibration.
